This winter celebrate the wonders of this festive period at Seaford's annual lantern parade making on the turning on of the winter lights.

There are lots of ways you can get involved in this years parade and they are all free of charge thanks to the amazing support of Seaford Town Council. Kits are avaible for all ages to enjoy, and the parade welcomes everyone from our community to come and join in.

Community Lantern Kits

You can collect a free lantern making kit from Seaford Tourist Information office on Church Street from the 1st November - open Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm. You can make these willow lanterns at home using our helpful video to guide you through the process. Bring your compleated lantern along with you to the parade and join in the festivities. 

Schools & Clubs

We are visting year 5 students in all Seaford primary schools and visiting over 60's services throughout town!

Lantern Decorating workshop - Mercread Youth Centre

Pop along to our amazing lantern decorating day at The Mercread Youth Centre on Saturday 30th November to decorate a ready made lantern for the parade. 

Take part in the Winter Woodland Parade - Saturday 30th November 

To take part in the parade assemble outside The Mercread Youth Centre at 5pm for a 5.15pm start. The parade take around 20 minutes and ends with the turning on of the Christmas Lights!
