What is The Big Give Arts For Impact Award?

This is a unique campaign which enables your donation to SCIP to be doubled! For each penny donated between the 18th - 25th March on the Big Give donation platform it will be doubled. 

What will my money be used for?

Your donation will enable SCIP to continue providing our programme of free art workshops and events for children and young people and free weekend activities for famalies all from our amazing venue The Crypt Gallery in Seaford.

Children and young people can learn new creative skills in a safe and inclusive environment, and the entire community can experience the positive effect that access to creativity and culture can have on their wellbeing.

Why should I support the arts?

The arts sector needs your support, it is a vital and important part of everyones lives.  Access to creativity and cuture has a positive and meaningful effect on everyones lives. 

Children and young people use art and culture as a portal to understanding and exploring the world. Access to creative activities plays an important role in supporting their wellbeing, confidence and developing social skills. 

We have seen first hand the impact that our services have on children and young people with additional needs, and are proud to provide a SEND provision at SCIP supported by our team of trustees and volunteers. 

We are also dedicated to ensuring all our services are free of charge because we believe the arts should be accessible to everyone regardless of household income.
